On November 28, 2024, John Lukacs Institute's Research Program on Strategy and Defense organized a background discussion with Or Yissachar, an Israeli security expert and Head of the Research Department at the Israel’s Defense and Security Forum (IDSF). The focus of the discussion was the current security situation in Israel, particularly the Gaza War, the broader Israeli-Iranian conflict, and the state of affairs in the Middle East.
In his opening presentation, Mr. Yissachar provided a comprehensive overview of his perspective on the ongoing situation and presented the findings of his research conducted at the IDSF. Following his remarks, our colleagues had the chance to engage in an interactive session, asking questions and offering their insights on the issues discussed.
