3rd College of Visegrad+ Weekend University
The College of Visegrad+ (CoV+) is an innovative, collegiate youth leadership training programme focused on educating the next generation of leaders within the Visegrad Four (V4), a regional alliance of Central European countries, namely the Czech Republic, Hungary, the Republic of Poland and the Slovak Republic. As the + in the name of the Programme suggests, the 3rd College of Visegrad+ Weekend University will focus on the V4 relationship with Austria (V4+Austria). The event will include thought-provoking discussions and debates, interactive lectures, workshops, cultural events and a trip to Vienna as well.
Scholarship: accommodation, board as well as travel costs of the selected participants will be covered
Date: April 9-13th 2025
Venue: Győr (transfer from Budapest and back, 1 day in Vienna)
Criteria:
· applicants must be university students or young professionals from the V4 countries and Austria
· good working knowledge of English is required

· Filled out application form: containing the data necessary for participation
· Motivation letter: a 3000-character long cover letter why you wish to participate
· CV (with photo): emphasizing your unique curricular and extracurricular experiences
· Consent to processing of personal data: please sign & attach the form on the protection of your personal data.

Organizers: The College of Visegrad+ Weekend University is a collaborative effort organized by the John Lukacs Institute for Strategy and Politics of the Ludovika University of Public Service, Budapest. This joint initiative brings together four universities from the Visegrad Group countries: Jagiellonian University in Kraków (Poland), Ludovika University of Public Service in Budapest (Hungary), Metropolitan University Prague (Czechia), Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice (Slovakia).
